Surface Preparation
Before PPF can be applied, the vehicle's paint must be thoroughly cleaned and decontaminated. This includes washing, clay bar treatment to remove embedded contaminants, and in some cases, paint correction to remove swirl marks or defects that would be visible under the film.
Film Application
The film is precisely cut using computer-designed patterns or custom cut on the vehicle. It's applied using a slip solution that allows positioning, then squeegeed to remove solution and air bubbles. Edges are carefully wrapped or tucked for a seamless appearance.
Curing Process
After application, the film needs time to cure and fully bond to the paint. During this period, you may notice slight haziness or small bubbles that will disappear as the film cures. Full cure typically takes several weeks depending on temperature and humidity.
